Bernice takes on My Santa Run!
Bernice is a member of 4Sight Vision Support, and we were delighted that she chose to support us in this way.
This fun challenge enabled Bernice to raise money for us as we continue to support her, and other in her local community with their sight loss journey. Joined by friend, and sighted guide, Jenny, the pair set off from Southwater Country Park, Horsham, and completed their challenge in December 2020.
Bernice said: I have lived with sight loss since birth, and so I do not know anything different and have had to adapt. I am blind in my right eye, and have 30% vision remaining in my left. I have tunnel vision and nystagmus, too – this is involuntary eye movements.

Bernice wants to encourage others to overcome the barriers they may face, and join her in this fun festive run/ walk or jog. It will be a great way to cheer people up after a difficult year, and spread some joy when out and about.
