Our activities offer a supportive environment enabling you to participate, learn new skills, re-build confidence and share experiences, along with the advantages of engaging socially in your community.

Our face-to-face activities across the county are run and supported by volunteers with activities including coffee mornings, guided walks, peer support, Tai Chi, tech group and games & quizzes.

Virtual Activities

We have a range of monthly virtual groups that are hosted over Zoom. They are a great way to meet members across the county, share stories and experiences and ask questions too. Current groups include :

  • Virtual Quiz
  • Chatterbooks Book Club
  • Tech Club
  • Theatre Group
  • History Discussion Group

I joined the Chatterbooks zoom group and although in the past I have found zoom meetings a little hard to access, this time  it was so simple. It was lovely to ‘meet’ and speak with other members. We all had a great deal to talk about … I don’t feel very confident using computers, but I would definitely encourage members to give it a go!

I support a lady who is registered as partially sighted and we were therefore delighted to find a 4sight club within easy reach of her home. They made her very welcome and she has made many good friends at the club and keep her up to date with what is going on in our community. The rambling group from the 4sight club has been a real life line for her. They arrange really good walks and are safety conscious, (which is a great relief for me). She never misses one of the rambles!
