I recently visited 4Sight Vision Support’s Sight Care Advisor at St. Richard’s Hospital Chichester. The chat was extremely helpful and informative. I came away with a much better understanding of my eye condition which enabled me to make a decision on how to proceed. This is a first class service for anyone who is having difficulty coming to terms with sight loss.
Our Sight Care Advisors (SCAs) are trained and qualified professionals, based both in our Shoreham Centre and at the Eye Clinics at Southlands and St Richard’s Hospitals.
Working closely with the Ophthalmology Teams at both hospitals, the SCAs will help you through the certification and registration process and advocate on your behalf to ensure you are aware of all the support and resources available to you.
By liaising directly with the ophthalmology team, the SCAs will also help you to fully understand the cause of your sight loss.
They operate an ‘open door’ policy and welcome calls from family members, friends or professionals who need advice and information about sight loss issues.
