E-Scooter Safety Concerns

People with sight loss are particularly at risk from e-scooters, which operate quietly making them difficult to notice and avoid.

We have already seen alarming reports of unsafe and anti-social behaviour, pedestrians injured in collisions, and illegal private e-scooter use increasing. We are seriously concerned about the e-scooter trials currently running across the country.

Guide Dogs Campaigns are calling on the Minister to pause all e-scooter rental trials until the safety concerns can be addressed.

Add your voice to the campaign now!

Sign the letter to Rachel Maclean MP, Transport Minister, to pause the trials until they can be sure that they are operated in a safe way.
