4Sight Vision Support member David Beresford, a visually impaired wheelchair user, helped support visually impaired people living in Midhurst & West Sussex by riding 170kms (107.83 miles) on a hand bike over a period of 12 days to raise money for 4Sight Vision Support.
David’s Hand Bike Challenge took place in The Grange Leisure Centre in Midhurst where he hoped to achieve at least 15km each day. This challenge took him through various levels of difficulty and he started at Level 10 and worked up to Level 17 which is the equivalent of climbing Harting Hill in West Sussex at a gradient of 32%!
David raised over £1,000 for 4Sight Vision Support. If you would like to set your own challenge and raise funds for 4Sight Vision Support please let us know and we can support you with sponsor forms and collection boxes to help you reach your challenge!
