4Sight Vision Support – Current Services

August 2020 Update –

We are planning to resume some of our face to face activities, both in Centre and in the wider community from the 1st October 2020. We will need to operate by appointment only to ensure numbers are kept to a manageable level for the safety of everyone and of course this will still be subject to change should guidelines alter, or local lockdowns be implemented.

However, we are continuing to provide support for our members as follows:

  • Our Outreach Worker Team and Sight Care Advisors continue to work remotely and can be contacted via their normal email addresses/mobile phone numbers.
  • Our Covid-19 Response Team consisting of staff & volunteers are making phone calls to our current members to monitor their wellbeing, provide support and identify needs and risks.
  • We are providing daily living aids and other products via a postal service.
  • We are providing information over the phone about a range of topics including eye conditions and accessible technology.
  • We are collaborating with health and social care partners in the voluntary sector and with local government, NHS and other agencies to provide additional support for our members who are most at risk.
  • We will continue to provide updates via our website and social media.

I can’t praise 4Sight Vision Support enough for all their help and kindness; I’m just so pleased and relieved to finally be able to talk through my sight loss with some one that understands.
